The buildings

Three buildings, one neighborhood
121 S. Broad is the 15th floor of the North American Building on the Avenue of the Arts, a Center City landmark steps from City Hall and the City Hall subway station, with a historic marble lobby below. Standard Deposition Room for up to 8.
1521 Locust is on the 4th floor, a block from Rittenhouse Square. It is the Philadelphia building with a Large Deposition Room for up to 12, as well as a standard room for up to 8.
1435 Walnut is Suite 501 of the historic Drexel Building on Walnut Street near Rittenhouse Square, with a classic lobby. Standard Deposition Room for up to 8.
Every building also has a Client Meeting Room (2–4 seats) for witness prep, private conferences or a mediation caucus.
Close to the courts
Philadelphia's City Hall, at Broad and Market Streets, houses civil courtrooms of the Court of Common Pleas, and the James A. Byrne U.S. Courthouse (the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit) is at 601 Market Street. 121 S. Broad is steps from City Hall; the Rittenhouse buildings are a few blocks west of Broad Street.
That matters on days when counsel has a hearing in the morning and a deposition in the afternoon, or when a witness is coming from a courthouse appointment.
Which building for which deposition
- Up to 8 people, close to City Hall: 121 S. Broad.
- More than 8 people, a video deposition, or a mediation joint session: the Large Deposition Room at 1521 Locust.
- Up to 8 people near Rittenhouse Square: 1435 Walnut or the standard room at 1521 Locust.
- A multi-day deposition: book each day separately; the full-day rate applies to each 8-hour day.
Not sure what you need? Our deposition room checklist walks through headcount, exhibits and the people to coordinate.
A conference room for the deposition, not your office
Taking a deposition in a rented conference room keeps opposing counsel out of your office, gives the witness neutral ground and frees your own conference room for the rest of the firm. If you are coming in from out of town, it also means you do not need to borrow space from local counsel.
Arrival and access instructions come with your confirmation. Forward them to the witness, the court reporter and opposing counsel: rooms are by appointment, and the instructions — not a receptionist — tell everyone where to go and how to get in.
Parking is run by each building or nearby garages, not by Depo Pros, and rates vary. If your witness is driving, build in time to park; if parking matters for your matter, call before you book and we will tell you what we know about that building.

- What time zone are Philadelphia bookings in?
- Eastern time, the local time at the building. Your confirmation and calendar invite use the same time.
- How far ahead do I need to book?
- Online bookings need at least 2 business days' notice, weekdays 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern time. For anything sooner or a weekend, call us and we will tell you what is possible.
- Do you provide the court reporter?
- No. Depo Pros rents the room and is not a court-reporting agency. Bring any reporter you like, or ask for a referral to an independent reporter who works in Philadelphia; we coordinate availability with the room, and the reporter quotes and bills you directly.
- What is the cancellation policy?
- Cancel at least 24 hours before your start time for a full refund. Later cancellations are credited toward a future booking within 12 months; no-shows are not refunded.
